Connecticut Fake ID Laws

Here is some information about the laws regarding the possession and use of fake IDs or licenses in Connecticut. The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection has published its Laws and Regulations online.

There are many parts that refer to the creation, possession, or usage of fake ids. One subsection that mentions them a lot is this one.

The ConnDOT website has a FAQ with the question:

What about possession of alcohol or using a fake ID?

The answer given is: Posession of alcohol or the use of your fake ID by minors are both punishable by a minimum $200 fine.
